Creepy Canadian radio show!

The brief period of cooler weather we’ve had here in Tennessee recently has paid off beautifully with a lot of autumn color in the trees. This is something I love and always hope to see as fall begins its slow creep toward Halloween. The cooler nights and dead leaves being blown along the ground make me long for tales of ghosts and other terrors told around a fire as the moon crawls across the star filled sky. To that end I have been listening to a steady stream of old radio shows to hear those stories without having to dig a fire pit in the backyard or even feel much of a chill. One such show I've been exploring lately is 'Nightfall'. A Canadian radio series that was on the air from 1980 to 1983 its one of the most recent shows of this type that I've listened to and it has turned out to be great. To make things more interesting, it appears that some of Nightfall's episodes were so terrifying that the Canadian public registered numerous complaints and some affiliate stations dropped the show out of fear of angry listeners. You know a horror show is on the right path if its pissing off radio listeners!

So settle back and take few minutes to hear an episode for yourself. This one is called 'The Book of Hell' and you can download it from HERE or play it just below. Enjoy!
